AZ OUTDOOR ARTS

AZ Outdoor Arts is an outgrowth of the success of Phoenix Mural Project, which was founded in 2015. We support all kinds of outdoor, publicly accessible art, produce mural festivals, liaise between mural patrons and artists, maintain mural maps, collect stories, lead mural tours, and host workshops.

We're currently partnering with AZ Downtowns and municipalities across Arizona to create a state-wide mural project including Flagstaff, Peoria, Wickenburg, Scottsdale, Page, Gilbert, Queen Creek, Globe, Chandler, Camp Verde, and more. The Arizona Murals Passport will encourage visitors and locals to explore the state from a new perspective. Renowned Arizona-based artists will collaborate with communities across the state to create landmark murals that are inspired by the natural environment and/or local histories.
